For those of us Fried Food Fans

Well, we know it's not good for us and I steer well away from fried foods most of the time. But I've found a wonderful alternative to the flour-y stuff that is really tasty.

It's called Louisiana Fry Seasoning and the company has a salt-free version that's low in carbs and all the other bad stuff.

We've been using it on fish and I really love the way chicken fingers turn out. Also, it's great with okra and it can be baked in the oven, so no oil. Haven't tried with onion rings - that's next and I'll report back.

Check it out - it's inexpensive and you can pair it with egg or milk as a dip. I add a little black pepper to spice it up.
