Speaking of old movies

Postby oilangel on Fri Mar 21, 2008 8:22 am

I had a hankering the other day to see Steele Magnolias again, so I rented it from Blockbuster. The movie did not disappoint me. I was laughing and crying the same as the 1st time I saw it.. I love movies that protray women as strong.

I love that movie too. I am a big Dolly Parton fan. Although she didn't have a big part in that movie, she was great. I was just thinking of that scene where the ladies were in the locker room.

Count me in as one who loves this movie. I have to put this on my NetFlix list to watch again. I did my share of crying too while watching these women.

Yeh, they were strong. I loved the picnic scene. This is the movie that made me reclaim my southern roots. :D
