I bought some chorizo yesterday but could not remember the brand I use. This one is good but not hot and spicy enough. No, make that it is spicy, but has no real heat. I made potatoes, sausage, peppers and onion. Wink I added some Goya hot sauce to give it some POW!!

Anything special I can do with my sausage? Suggestions please.

You made a really tasty dish. If it's "Spanish" chorizo, it it milder; but the "Mexican" variety should be hotter/spicier. You can also add it into scrambled eggs or cook up some rice and beans.

Store-bought versions are always so salty. Here's a link to a recipe for a homemade version. You can adjust or eliminate the salt entirely, which is a nice option. Plus, add as much cayenne as you want - nice, too!

Thanks much for the advice and the recipe. I had it with scrambled egg this morning. I plan to make my own chorizo from the recipe you shared. I checked and I did buy the Mexican sausage. This brand is very tame.

I have two sausages left and in the back of my mind, I am thinking chorizo, peppers and eggs Very Happy

Life is good Exclamation
