We have loved all 3 Rambo movies - yes, 3. Don't waste your money on the 4th one. Rent it, whatever, but any purchase price will be too much. The earlier movies drew us action-lovers in and made us "appreciate" Stallone's "acting skills." Rambo 4 is just a continuous run-on of head-slicing and blood with no variations in the methods. (Note: we love action/adventure - not particularly overt gruesomeness.) The scenes looked like they were repeated over and over - and over - then spliced in some more.

Halfway (less?) through the movie, we simply didn't care about the characters or the outcome. This could have been scripted so much better and with very little effort in my opinion.

Our $18 Amazon order was a waste. Do yourself a favor and splurge on the special edition trio package if you're a fan.
