How About Quilting?

Postby Vannielovesmovies on Mon Jun 23, 2008 10:49 am

Quilting seems to be very popular again. I recently saw a really beautiful quilt on PBS, it looked like a watercolor painting. I 'think' it was made by Patricia Bolton, aka, Pokey Bolton. Nope I did not make that up, she is awesome and editor in chief of a quilting magazine. You can see her here in a Sulky Thread newsletter. The actual site has some nice freebies. http://www.sulky.com/newsletters/newsle ... 0710R.html

A couple of quilting sites - some have free patterns and projects*

Part of my last job included designing T-shirts for all our zoo events. I probably did at least 150 of them over the years. Now, I've cut them up into squares and one day hope to make a quilt out of them.

Oh, where does the time go, anyway!

I also have a quilt my grandmother made from my dad's old baby clothes. What a treasure that is!
