Our next door neighbors had a new garage put in with the addition of a garden at the back. They hired someone to come in and do it. Now, how's that for getting it done? The "pros" have packed in a lot of stuff in a small space that's elevated as part of the garage retaining wall. Packed with full-grown bushes and already blooming flowers, too.

I'm hoping they'll be sharing some of that bounty with us, of course.

Makes me want to get a little more adventurous next year.
