Planting Season is just around the corner!

April's just around the corner - time to start plotting out your garden, large or small. Now's the time for berries and my personal favorite green onions (in the south, anyway). Unfortunately will have to wait until May for jalapenos, serranos, bells, and tabascos. I'm just a novice with a few disasters under my belt, but each year I always try again.

Tomato Planting Time

Postby CindyK on Sun Apr 20, 2008 11:53 am

It's not too early to think about planting tomatoes. You can do it one of two ways. Bury the seedling in the ground up all the way up to the leaves. Or, bury the entire plant on its side and cover. It will grow upwards (properly) in time.
