Nora Roberts/J. D. Robb

Postby Vannielovesmovies on Sat Apr 26, 2008 7:42 am

I was introduced to Nora Roberts by a co-worker and am forever grateful. Since that time I have read several of her trilogies. The Dream trilogy was my introduction to her writing. Daring to Dream (1996), Holding the Dream (1997), Finding the Dream (1997)

I also read the Concannon Sisters trilogy; Born in Fire (1994), Born in Ice (1995), Born in Shame (1996) and the Key trilogy; Key of Light (2003), Key of Knowledge (2003) , Key of Valor (2004)

But my fave Nora's are her J. D. Robb "In Death" futuristic murder series. The writing is very different, but sometimes Roberts peaks through Robb. See Nora Roberts site http://www.noraroberts.com/

J. D. Robb's Creation in Death

Postby Vannielovesmovies on Wed Jul 02, 2008 8:04 am

I believe Creation in Death is JD Robb's next to the last book, it was published in 2007. I finished reading this last week and think it is one of the best of the recent In Death series. I am still not sure why I love these books. I am one of those people who cry when I see brutality or cruelty to humans or animals on the news.

Robb's novels always has an over the top sadistic villian(sp?). If you are familiar with Eve and Roarke, you will notice that he is more involved with Eve and the police than ever. Of course he can't ever be officially attached to the force because then he and Eve can't find about his sometimes involvement
