Netflix anyone?

Postby CindyK on Mon Sep 01, 2008 7:57 am

Anyone using Netflix? We're thinking about getting the $4.99 package for a couple of movies a month. Finally figured out how to get to the entire movie list (it's way down at the bottom in tiny print - "genres."

It only makes sense, I guess, or are there other places out there that are better?

I love NetFilix and recommend it. I have the package you are thinking about. The service is amazing. When I am finished viewing the movie, I drop it off at the post office because it is close by. I often get a message the next day or the day after that they have received my film. I don't understand that, but...

I have used them for more than a year :D

Thanks a bunch, Vannie!

My next question is - what size are the return packages? Are they cd-case sized and returned in an envelope? Being out in the "middle of nowhere," our return mail box thingie is like a small slot, but big enough to slide one of those plastic cases through (now, I'll have to go check). I hadn't thought about having to drive to the P.O. for a return - glad you mentioned that. Having to do that would defeat the purpose, I guess.

Cindy,

Not to worry. The discs are shipped without the plastic case. The disc is in a paper envelop that is 6 inches across and the envelope is no postaage needed. Just put the disc back in the same flat envelope and send off by dropping in the nearest mail box, etc.

Easy, easy, easy.

Very cool - I guess we'll go through and make a list to save searching every time. (First up is "The Bucket List.") From there (if my husband does the searching), it'll probably be a healthy dose of action/adventure. We have a large library of taped movies, but have seen them sooooooooooooooo many times.

Thanks, Vannie!
