Mystery Novels

Postby Vannielovesmovies on Sat Apr 26, 2008 8:02 am

I have always loved mystery novels. My fondness goes back to reading second hand Agatha Christie (Ms. Marple) as a young teen. http://us.agathachristie.com/site/home/ and Nero Wolfe (author Rex Stout) novels. http://www.nerowolfe.org/htm/stout/author.htm I am quite sure that I was a nerd or what ever it was called then.

These days I am enjoying the new writers. There are so many female amature and super sleuths to choose from now. Of course we can't forget author James Patterson who gave us Alex Cross and later The Women's Murder Club

What your fave mystery novels or characters?

I hadn't read much of the current mystery writers until getting the first Sue Grafton books. They are really fun and have some twists to them that are great recreational reading. I think I'd like to get into the Women's Murder Club, too.
