You can make a decorator-style glass vase to keep or give away in less than 15 minutes.

Items needed:

1. A clear glass vase
2. Ceramic & Glass Cement
3. Bag of clear colored glass pebbles

Directions:

Put a small dab of glass cement on the pebble and place it on your clear vase. Continue until you have the look you want. All you need is a little imagine to make a beautiful and colorful vase.

These vases are pretty filled with flowers or when a one or two are placed in a sunny window. Check out the dollar store for cheap vases, look for the heavier glass. You may also be able to find the colored glass pebbles there, if not go to your local craft shop. Elmer's brand glass cement for crafts is excellent and inexpensive.

To clean decorated vase, dip in cool soapy water, rinse in cool water and allow to air-dry.

These are so much fun and the dollar store is always a great place to stock up on project things. You can also add a message (or a signature) on the bottom with paint that works on glass.
